On Thursday, May 25, the Austin Transit Partnership hosted “Transforming Transit Together: Austin Light Rail Industry Expo” at Distribution Hall.
This event featured detailed information about the Austin Light Rail delivery framework, potential contracting opportunities and networking – in addition to bringing together industry partners and local businesses to discuss opportunities related to Austin Light Rail.
Key speakers included Mayor Kirk Watson and Greg Canally, the executive director of Austin Transit Partnership.
The Austin Transit Partnership was created by voters in 2020 to be the independent entity accountable and responsible for the financing, design, construction and overall implementation of Project Connect.
