Juneteenth in Round Rock, family style

by Sally Schroder

Mark your calendar for the 19th annual FREE Juneteenth Festival, happening on June 13 and 14, at Old Settlers Park (3300 E Palm Valley Blvd.) in Round Rock.

This vibrant celebration of African American history – jam packed with live music, soul food vendors and activities for all ages – is geared toward families.

Together, The Voice Inc. and the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department are on a mission to revive intergenerational connections via community-based programs that bring families of all ages together.

Parking is $10, cash only, with all proceeds going toward next year’s celebration of two decades.
