In keeping with tradition, Austin Museum Day is slated for the penultimate Sunday of the month – Sept. 22 – when folks are invited to enjoy dozens of Austin-area museums for free.
This communitywide celebration of art and culture includes many points of interest from the LBJ Presidential Library to the Art Galleries at Black Studies – plus a host of others in between.
Since 1998, the Austin Museum Partnership has coordinated the event.
No matter your interest, there is something for everyone: from history and music to science, nature and play, get out and explore the art scene in Austin. It’s booming!
