Change is bittersweet

by The 100 Companies

I, like many people, struggle with change. Sometime last month, my eldest son (by two minutes) started making a face that would make even the most stone-faced person laugh out loud. With his chin to his chest, he’d furrow his brow and stare.

He did it to purposely make people laugh and our family enjoyed the heck out of it. Strangers were a little taken aback.

But after a few weeks, the look disappeared, gone the way of family lore. He has moved on, but I wasn’t ready. There will be new looks, but I’ll still miss the ones before.
