As the need for women’s services continues to grow in Central Texas, St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, a Level IV Maternal Care facility, recently announced the completion of the facility’s $121 million renovation and expansion.
The facility’s completion and renovation adds 30 NICU beds and four additional floors, including a 166,369-square-foot expansion with four C-section operating rooms, 36 labor and delivery beds (including four birthing suites) and 24 antepartum beds. The additional beds opened for patients on Monday, July 31.
The expansion project is part of St. David’s HealthCare’s nearly $1 billion investment in Central Texas healthcare infrastructure, announced in 2022.
