by The 100 Companies

Texas Water Utilities and Make-A-Wish North Texas recently granted the wish of 9-year-old Caliyah, who has a rare blood disorder and wished to swim with dolphins. The Lancaster local visited St. Thomas for six days with her family in July.

Before her trip, Texas Water Utilities held a celebration with cupcakes, balloons and snow cones. Terry Benton, vice president of operations at Texas Water Utilities, presented Caliyah with a basket of her favorite things, including sour gummy worms, JoJo Siwa bows and a personalized beach towel. Benton shared that Texas Water Utilities is humbled to help make dreams come true.
