It’s summertime, and living is easy – and hot (especially in Central Texas). We’ve scoured the landscape to bring you this round-up of swimming spots, within city limits and beyond, courtesy of Mother Nature:
• Hippie Hollow is a sweet spot along the rocky shore of Lake Travis (and the state’s only clothing-optional public park).
• Twin Falls and Sculpture Falls, a pair of popular splash-down sites, are fed by Barton Springs just a short hike from the Greenbelt.
• Dog-friendly Blue Hole Park, 30 miles north in Georgetown, is marked by limestone bluffs along a fork of the San Gabriel River.
