The Austin Chamber of Commerce and Opportunity Austin, two of Central Texas’ leading business advocacy organizations, announced new leaders for the next iteration of the organizations’ relationship, which will help them focus on specialized areas of expertise. The announcement builds on the nearly 20 years of successful collaboration between the two organizations to grow the region.
Jeremy Martin, current interim COO of the Austin Chamber of Commerce, will become the new, permanent president and CEO of the Austin Chamber June 26. Gary Farmer will be chairman and interim CEO of Opportunity Austin while a search for a permanent leader is conducted.
