Austin-original family restaurant, Kerbey Lane, generously donated breakfast for mothers and families of neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients at St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas last Thursday, May 11, in advance of Mother’s Day.
Amy Irons, director of neonatal services at St. David’s Women’s Center of Texas, shared her gratitude for the special delivery and for what Kerbey Lane’s generosity meant to NICU moms and families.
“Going through a NICU journey is so challenging,” Irons said. “Sometimes, just a meal that they don’t have to make themselves is such a gift. It’s something they don’t have to worry about.”
