Ballet Austin’s 2023/24 season will open in September with an exploration of passion and revenge in Stephen Mills’ Hamlet, followed by the magic of the holiday season with the 61st annual production of The Nutcracker in December.
On Valentine’s Day weekend, Ballet Austin will treat audiences to TRIAD: Three Bold Dances, featuring George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco, Amy Seiwert’s Renaissance and Stephen Mills’ dive into existentialism in CARBON53.
A new work, Stephen Mills’ POE/A Tale of Madness, is commissioned through the generosity of the Butler New Choreography Endowment and will premiere in March with a score by award-winning composer Graham Reynolds.
