A new public art installation will soon be on the wall at Old Bakery and Emporium, thanks to ongoing efforts to energize and enhance the public space with new amenities for all to enjoy.
Four standalone entities – the Downtown Austin Alliance, Old Bakery and Artisan Emporium, City of Austin Parks and Recreation Department and Austin Parks Foundation – are joining forces to transform the downtown greenspace and are seeking community input via an online survey, available in English and Spanish.
Once complete, the Writing on the Walls mural will amplify the stories and experiences of the myriad individuals who call Austin home.
