Skillpoint Alliance expands its Certified Production Technician training program to Hays County with support from the Greater San Marcos Partnership. San Marcos-based manufacturer, Signify, will host the class, with the goal of broadening the State’s workforce pipeline and growing its manufacturing base. Classes begin Feb. 21 in Hays County, and were made possible by funding provided by the Office of the Governor’s Texas Talent Connection grant.
“This expansion will allow us to provide an opportunity for members of the Hays County community to find meaningful careers with great benefits and upward mobility,” said Kevin Brackmeyer, the CEO of Skillpoint Alliance.
