Giving back to the communities they serve is the driving force behind Texas Water Utilities’ Project Wishbone, now in its 11th year.
In keeping with a decade of tradition, pre-registered customers on the company’s Water Assist program – for income eligible individuals and families – will receive a pre-cooked smoked turkey delivered directly to their doorstep in time for Thanksgiving.
The project, launched in 2012, provides holiday meals to neighbors who might not be able to afford one – as evidenced by the 98 birds from Greenberg Smoked Turkeys, Inc. currently en route from Tyler to households in 23 Texas counties.
