Downtown Austin Alliance welcomes the magic of the winter holidays – Austin style – with a series of Y’alliday events in December.
Festivities kick off at the 28th Annual Holiday Stroll & Sing-Along Saturday, Dec. 3 from 5-10 p.m., as families browse the festive market and sing carols led by KUT/KUTX radio personalities. Crowds will then gather around the towering 45-foot Christmas tree – wrapped in 137,000 LED lights – for the inaugural lighting.
From family-friendly activities at Republic Square, to a Downtown Holiday Shopping Passport that rewards those who shop local, there’s no shortage of holiday cheer in downtown Austin this year.
